Step 1 - Understand Audit Requirements

CVC has established minimum record requirements that are essential for successfully auditing your media company. If your company does not utilize a specific type of distribution listed in the audit requirements, simply disregard the related records request.

Step 2 - Audit Request

Once you’ve reviewed the requirements for a CVC audit, the next step is to submit your audit request. After completing the Audit Request form, you will receive confirmation of submission, and a CVC representative will contact you to discuss the next steps.

Step 3 - Complete Audit Forms

Audits can be completed using records that most media companies already maintain, and the process is designed to be efficient, minimizing costs and maximizing return on investment. During the audit, a series of comprehensive reports must be submitted before the audit can begin. Once your audit request is received, you will be provided with a personalized implementation kit. The forms included will have assigned due dates and will serve as the foundation for the support documents needed for your audit.
